Currently, East Africa is made up of Countries like Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan. Among all Kenya has the leading tourism industry, followed by Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and lastly South Sudan.
Rwanda is famous for mountain gorilla trekking done in Volcanoes national park, Uganda also famous for Gorilla trekking and Chimpanzee trekking done in Bwindi Impenetrable forest and Kibale forest national park respectively.

Fauna or simply animal life. East African countries have a variety of wild birds and animals found in game reserves, game parks, zoo, and sanctuaries among other gazetted areas.
Flora or simply plant life. East African countries contain all types of vegetation including tropical and temperate. Because of its excellent changing climate, it contains vegetation similar to that of temperate regions on the slopes of its highest mountain peak and all other categories of vegetation.
Culture – East African countries are rich in cultural heritage like various traditional dances, ways of dressing, and cultural costumes like burial customs, historical sites, and museum among others.
Best climate for sun bathing, swimming, fishing among others. The beaches surrounding the mighty Lake Victoria offer the best sites for sweet sun bathing.
